Privacy Policy

This document is written in plain language, not legalese. It is not a substitute for legal advice.

What we collect and why

Email address

When you sign in, you enter your email. We use it to send you a one time sign in link. We do not send marketing email. We do not share your email with anyone.

Profile content

When you create a Kadi page you provide a username, display name, bio, avatar URL, and your links. This content is stored so we can show it to anyone who visits your page. You control everything in it and can edit or delete it at any time from your dashboard.

Anonymous analytics

When someone visits your public profile page, we record a page view count for that day against your profile ID. When someone taps one of your links, we record a click count against that link and day. These counts are associated with your profile, not with the visitor. We do not track who the visitor is, where they came from, or anything about their device or browser.

Billing and payment data

If you subscribe to Kadi Pro, payments are processed by Razorpay (razorpay.com). Razorpay collects and stores your payment method details (card numbers, bank account information, UPI IDs used for subscription payment). We never see, store, or have access to these details.

We store a Razorpay customer ID and subscription ID on your profile so we can manage your subscription status. We also store a log of billing events (subscription activated, renewed, cancelled) for auditing and support purposes. This log contains no payment method information.

Email subscribers

If a profile owner has added an email capture block, visitors may choose to submit their email address to subscribe to that creator. These email addresses are stored in our database and associated with the creator's profile. Creators can export and download their subscriber list from the dashboard.

We do not use these email addresses for any purpose other than enabling the creator to contact their subscribers. We do not send marketing email to subscriber lists. We do not share subscriber email addresses with any third party.

If you subscribed to a creator's list and want to be removed, contact the creator directly or email us at hello@kadi.bio.

What we do not collect

  • Visitor IP addresses or device fingerprints on public pages
  • Cookies or tracking pixels on public profile pages
  • Location data
  • Payment information of any kind. Kadi never processes payments; payment blocks redirect visitors to a UPI app or payment link you specify, and we are not involved in any transaction
  • Browsing history or cross site data

Cookies

We use a session cookie on authenticated pages (your dashboard) to keep you signed in. This cookie is first party, used only for authentication, and contains no advertising identifiers. Public profile pages set no cookies at all.

Where your data is stored

All data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Supabase (supabase.com). The application is hosted on Vercel (vercel.com). Both are reputable infrastructure providers with their own security and compliance programs. We do not operate our own data centres.

Data sharing

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers. The only third parties who may access your data are the infrastructure providers above (Supabase, Vercel), strictly for the purpose of operating the service.

Your rights

You can edit or delete your profile content at any time from your dashboard. You can delete your account from the dashboard settings tab. After deletion, your account enters a 30-day recovery window during which you can restore it. After 30 days, your account and all associated data are permanently deleted from our systems.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. We will not change this policy in a way that reduces your rights without notifying you.
